职位描述:

Job Title

Naval architect

Reports to:
Head of Technical center

Job Purpose
 Provide technical support of the products related to ship performance to sales, CM and aftermarket departments.
 Act as a Product specialist to work with ship designer to prepare and present RRM’s optimal solution to ship owners.
 Feedback the proposal/information for product modification and R&D.


Key Accountabilities
 Conception promotion/presentation to customer during marketing, pre-sales stage Co-operation with sales dept.
 Cooperation with ship designer for optimised ship performance solution.
 Prepare the ship performance related products technical specification according to enquiry from sales, supported by CoE (The product configurators need to be available.)
 Review / consolidate (if possible) the ship performance part of system
    supply specification.
 Take part in the system supply project technical spec. negotiation.
 Take part in the propulsion plant project  technical spec. negotiation upon request of sales.

Key Experiences and any Qualification Requirements
• Degree preferably mainly in marine hydrodynamics or ship design education.
• Preferably 5 year plus experience in ship hull line or propeller design.
• Communication skills.
• Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000, particularly Excel and Word, Internet and email. And design tools

• Introduce  RRM’s ship performance  solution to customer. Be able to answer the questions to the extend of 60-70%
• Clarefy RR’s Spec. to customer to the extend of 60-70%.
• Provide solution for low-middle level issues during the contract process .
